Hi, I’m Ian.

I’m originally from Menlo Park, a small suburb about 40 minutes south of San Francisco. I attended Boston University from 2015 to 2019 (go Terriers!) and now live in sunny San Diego.

My work experience has been a mix of web design, social media marketing, and copywriting. I’ve run promotional campaigns for events, designed WordPress sites from the ground up, managed email newsletters, and written web copy on a variety of topics (video games, cars, health and wellness, and home repairs, to name a few).

I love to create above all else, whether it’s written or graphic, and my body of work reflects a passion for storytelling and narrative design.

As much as I love design and strategy, writing holds a particularly special place for me both personally and professionally.. I’ve been a writer as long as I could hold a pencil (what a discovery Microsoft Word was to 10-year-old me!) and I look for inspiration in anything and everything around me. The first “story” I ever wrote at the age of 8 was a blatant rip-off of the first chapter of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, but since then I’ve discovered the difference between “inspiration” and “plagiarism.”

Today, I’m putting my love of language and design to good use to help people find new and unique ways to tell their stories.
